Everyone knows that iPhone is at the moment the most popular smartphone on the market. Apple is simply dominating the smartphone and tablet market for the last three years with no real contender. However Samsung has started to gain field and is for now the single direct threat to Apple’s iDevices. Most users probably already know that there is no flash player for the iPhone available at the moment with native support from Apple. Not having flash player for iPhone is a big disadvantage at the moment as increasingly more websites require a flash player support in order to view the information.

The need to get flash player for the iPhone has been solved by other private developers. At this time there are multiple choices to get flash player for iPhone, some of them just simple apps from Cydia, while others are completely separate browsers, but in the end they all fulfill their purpose and bring some kind of flash player for the iPhone. You are probably wondering why Apple hasn’t implemented any kind of flash player for iPhone. The big problem with the flash player client for the iPhone is that it interprets separately downloaded code, which is forbidden by Apple’s developer agreement: “an Application may not itself install or launch other executable code by any means”.

I will present you below 3 great alternatives which will bring support of flash player for the iPhone.

Skyfire Browser

Skifire is one of the most popular flash player for iPhone, being the tool of choice of many iPhone users. This browser allows you to view flash content that is embedded on websites, but you cannot play games or view flash based websites. If you need flash player for the iPhone only for browsing then i would recommend you to install Skyfire right away.

iSwifter Browser

Another browser that brings flash player support for iPhone is the iSwifter. Although it is also a browser, it is based on a completely different principle than Skyfire. The iSwifter is not a basic flash player for the iPhone, it only streams flash content as video content. Unlike Skyfire, with iSwifter you can also play flash based games. Therefore, if you need flash player for iPhone for more than browsing, then i suggest that you try iSwifter.

Frash Flash Player

Frash Flash Player is a simple app that can be downloaded from Cydia and it brings flash player for the iPhone. This Cydia tweak runs a process in the background, allowing you to view any information that requires flash player support directly on the default Safari browser. If you want to install Frash Flash Player on your iPhone you will have to jailbreak it first.

We also have some great alternatives to get flash player for the iPad.
